ABOUT US

Comfort for Chemo was originally inspired by my daughter Jezebel's battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  She would mention how excited she was for her visits to the toy closets after each of her chemotherapy treatments.  On good days when the toy closets were well stocked, Jezebel was lucky enough to pick out extra gifts to share the heartwarming experience with her siblings.  It was Jezebel's story that inspired our initial holiday toy drive in December of 2017 which was held at Prosper Marketplace's Phoenix office.  While dropping off the donations with the staff and patients at Banner Thunderbird Hospital, it was clear to see how genuinely happy Jezebel was doing something selfless.  Comfort for Chemo became an official nonprofit public charity recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization in July of 2018 and is now collecting donations all year round.  We can help bring a sense of comfort and joy to many deserving patients and families with a simple act of giving. We've personally felt the effects of a loved one battling cancer and have seen how much power a gift can have to lift the spirits. Now we want to share that feeling with you.
